One thing I'm looking forward to on this, is its Virtual Console. With the higher rez screen it can handle the older SNES and Genesis titles.
Any games scheduled for it? What about NEC TG games?

So can I put one of these new SDXC cards in the back and use that as my boot drive while maintaining the internal HD for data storage?

No it wouldn't be better than an ssd, on the contrary it would worse than an HD, sd cards are not optimized for the many small writes that an os performs, nor do they lend themselves well to ntfs or hfs+, and that's why ssd drives that include flash have such convoluted contollers and cost that much more than sd cards, because of the development that goes into them.

4S. I like the name, and it makes sense to keep continuity with the previous naming scheme (3GS). I guess we'll see a true iPhone 5 next summer.

Just in case the stealth mission doesn't work call up some Somali pirates for back up.
I'll be in the elevator with said midget, make that a snappier elevator, to allow for quick transport to the hull of the ship. Once in the storage area we can grab the 2011 iMacs and perhaps a few white Jesus phones ;)

I don't understand all the bad push back for this new feature.
I'm walking down inner city and notice Jane is at the local coffee shop, I'll say hi. I'm at the concert with a buddy, and notice Brad is there too. I just entered this really neat cupcake place, I want to let my FRIENDS know.

I think most people that show hatred to sandy bridge CPU are owners of late 2010 MBA. Bias imo.

I like to do some light gaming on-the-go, and while I have my M11x for that, I mostly carry around my Air now.
Before you tell me that the 3000 isn't as bad as I make it out to be, I have a 2011 13" Pro (i7-2.7/4/HD3000). CODMW2 on Medium settings on that, I can barely eke out 20fps while I can get 30 on my Air (although I did slightly OC the 320M).
Or maybe people who simply prefer the 320 over the 3000?

The Army already uses Apple stuff. So I guess you'll never buy Apple.
Or Microsoft. Or Linux. Heck, the Army uses almost everything you can think of. Including electronics from probably every company you've heard of.
While you're at it, better check the tags in your clothes. And don't eat boxed or canned or frozen foods either, those companies also make military rations.
As a child of the 50s and 60s, I sympathize with your politics. As an Army veteran, I can tell you that you're barking up the wrong tree. Fight the politicians who go to war, not the war materials or their users... because there are times that you will really need them, and need them to be the best.

Robbieduncan is correct. The only reason the EF-S exists is because it's cheaper for Canon to make wide angle lenses with a short focus back (i.e. that the lens is closer to the mirror than EF lenses). It's purely consumer oriented! Lower-end - mid range cameras use the 1.6 FOVCF, making them inexpensive. Canon wants cheaper lenses so they can sell more lenses and cameras. That's it, plain and simple. They are technically identical to any EF lens in every other way but the mount depth.

Please read this post through before reporting bugs :o.

The MBA currently sold is a solid contender in and of itself. It has the perfect set of features already for me. The only things I'd want :
- higher resolution screen. 13", 1920x1200. Do it.
- Better GPU/CPU combo. No SB + Intel crap, gimme nVidia with newer generation processors. Intel should just get out of the GPU business.
- USB3 only to get a 1 Gbps USB Ethernet adapter. But that's candy.
Otherwise, keep it like it is.

It will be a surprise if they don't name a phone iPhone after getting all those trademarks. They certainly wouldn't save it for another future product while coming out with an Apple-branded phone.
Is there any chance they have another name in mind for their product but got the patents in order to lock up the name to prevent competitors from using it? Personally, I doubt it.

I'm puzzled by why these apps all just tout iPhone compatibility. Why not also the iPad?
I have an iPad with 3G and the built-in map sucks (compared to my real Garmin Nuvi). I'd pay to have good navigation on it. So why the hate from Garmin?
