I posted this question on another thread but its on page 38-39, so thought I might post as a new thread so that I can get some answer to my concerns...
I renewed my EAD thru e-filing. Everything was ok but the address to send the Confirmation Receipt is TSC. My initial I-485 is at NSC. My address did not change anytime from the time I applied I-485.
I entered the correct info in question 11..which was:
Have you ever before applied for employment auth. form USCIS?
X Yes(if yes, continue below)
I checked yes
which USCIS office?
My answer:
LINCOLN, NE date: 08/14/2007
Should I be worried about this or can I just feel its okay?
Is this something okay?

I am not an attorney but questions related to your employer etc should not be asked if you enter on AP. They are more focused on those questions when one enters using a work visa of some sorts. I suggest you enter asap using your AP given that it expires in a month get your green card in hand and then you are free man. You can even go back work out of the country for a limited time until you find a project here. By the way congratulations.

So a question that's worth pondering. If I am on 485/EAD without H1b, does this mean I have the right to work but not the right to stay in the US?
The EAD card only gives us the right to work (as said on the card, cannot be used for entry), and my 485 has been pending for more that 240 days.
Is there any explicit stipulation for the 485 that allows me to be in the US as long as it is not denied?

I also have a similar case of 2 485s . I have EB2 priority date of September 2005 and not yet approved. May be multiple A # make it complex. I am planning to take an infopass apppointment and talk to IO and inform that we have 2 A#. Let us know how your appointment goes

My husband's employer filed for green card under EB-1 (OR). I-140 got approved, I-485 is pending. I already did my fingerprinting. My husband's is scheduled for next week. We did not get EAD or AP yet.
Meanwhile I need to travel to Europe on business. I have a valid H-1 to re-enter US. Would my AP get approved before I return to US? If so, can I still enter with my valid H-1? My husband is planning to delay his biometrics until I get back. Are there any problems with this plan? Please advise

EAD does not confer any status to live in the US. Your status continues to be AOS. When the EB2 I140 is approved, the lawyer will either interfile it with the pending I485, or the USCIS will auto-approve your case if the EB2 priority date is current.

I would like to get my M-I-L's visa extended for couple of months, whose I94 is valid until June7th.
She got her multiple visa through her daughter , around 9 years back.They are no longer in US.Currently
Please let me know the following.
`a) The documents needed for extension.

One has to maintain at least 6 months of validity in the passport if on H1
(for visa and for traveling); although not strictly implemented, this might create problems. Next, an expired passport is not considered to be a valid ID document.

Hello,
My Present H1B stamp is with company A and expires November 20 2007. Now I'm with company B and with this I have my petetion (H1B approval) which expires June 20 2008. Now I'm travelling to India for my marriage and coming back September 8. I'm not getting the new stamp this time. Will I have any problem during the immigration ??
Also with my present papers, my wife would be attending her visa Interview on Sep 4. Will there be any problem for her at the interview ???

Just make sure you show you approved 797 petition from company B ( for whom you are working ) at POE to the immigration officer so he can enter the correct employer in their system and also gives u the correct I 94 which should expire on June 20 2008.

Yes, It seams to be executing the code and inserting the variables correctly. I also ran ran the microsoft net monitor. I see the first instance of each button pushed but subsequent pushes are not sending the http requests.
