Hi,
Recently, I've been using guitar rig pro with the Aggregate audio device created in Audi MIDI setup. This Aggregate audio device was composed of the built-in input and the airphones app to output the audio to my ipod, which was connected to my audio system. However, I wasn't happy with the noticable latency, so, I went out and bought a usb sound card, and now, whenever I'm trying to delete the old Aggregate a. device to make a new one, It doesn't do a thing except deselect itself.
It seems as if I cannot modify the Aggregate audio device in any possible way.
HELP!

No offense, but I'm at least adding something to this thread, granted, it is how I see things, and not the absolute truth. But if you want to come and tell me I'm wrong, at least have the decency to point out why. And if you don't want to write, at least post a link.

OK, I've been thinking about this event now for a day. I noticed two what I would consider Steve faux pas. The first being Mr. Jobs brought up the one thing I have been hoping and begging for since the beginning of iTunes and the iTunes store: the Beetles. Why on earth other than "Hey, I like them" would he bring up an artist, in this case a group, that is not even available in the store? Was it a test? Was he hoping to hear a reaction from the audience that would push Sir Paul over the edge and join the throngs of iTunes lovers? Give me a break! The fourth largest music retailer should be able to pull in any band. Fact is, those of us who love them are getting older and the new generation thinks they are six legged arthropods.
Along the same lines was the Paramount introduction. Vague to say the least. Now, in the background were titles like the Italian Job (both of them), Paycheck, and K-19. This will not make you forfeit any rollover minutes. This is used like a data plan... You should have no change to your bill as far as price unless you drop your plan. It requires you to have unlimited text on individual or family rate plans. Same price you paid before as well as unlimited calling/messaging to any mobile...
Last time I did any rate plan change, the info you gave is correct. You only lose your accumulated rollover minutes if you change your voice plan down in monthly minutes (i.e., going from a Nation 700 plan down to a 450 minute plan). They have it this way so that people can't pay for a couple of months of a high minute plan and not use the minutes, roll them over (bank them), then downgrade to a much lower minute plan for the remainder of the year and live off of the rollover minutes they banked when on the higher limit plan. My understanding is that when you change voice plans, but the monthly minute allowances are the same (ex. a 450 plan to this new 450 plan, or 700 to 700), you shouldn't lose accumulated rollover minutes.

One tip I have for those clients who want to change absolutley every little detail... explain that you are happy to change it all for an extra fee, and you'll even offer a lower hourly rate since you're not being asked to do anything creative, but remind them that they will end up with a site designed by an amateur to their personal, individual taste, rather than the site designed by a professional and designed to appeal to their whole customer base that they've already paid for.

Some times you have to go with your gut feeling and design something that you know is the proper way to do it. Then also design exactly what they asked for. Present first the one they asked for. When they start making faces, then present this other thing you put together, and they'll probably love it. That's been my experience at least. Yes, it's more work that way, doing it twice, but most customers simply don't have the design experience to be dictating what it should look like - which is precisely why they hired you.

Except iOS is not a exclusively a smartphone OS. Again, if you are a developer, the metric that matters is how many devices are using the particular platform.

I use AIM and Gmail with iChat. It works fine. I never chat with my .mac account.
What if the rumored mapping or phone stuff that might be part of Leopard is only for .Mac users?
.Mac users can call people from their computers or get .Mac Earth or something similar.
Also, iCal needs to go online (add, edit, etc. from the Internet), storage needs to go way up, etc.
Give me something AOL and Google don't.
AOL just announced something that allows you to back up 5GB of data. .Mac gives you 1 GB. AOL is free, .Mac costs $99. I understand there are other features, but AOL has most of them too. It's not worth the $$ until some major improvements happen.

I really like the concept HP has done with their up coming slate/Pre integration. Being able to respond to a text while on my iPad would be awesome. Anyone hear of an app that can do this? If not lets get one going :)

Does anybody understand why Metal Gear Solid 4 was on the PS3, and then was on the Xbox 360? I feel ripped off. The Wii has a larger installed base. I feel so ripped off I'm refusing to give Konami any props. I'm just giving props to PC games. I'm not upset.

Eh, people are reading the data completely wrong. The iPhone 4 dropped on Verizon in mid to late February and had 2.2mil activations by the end of the quarter (roughly 6-7 weeks later), at & t had it for roughly six weeks (almost double the time of Verizon) and only managed 3.6 mil activations. Verizon is activating MORE iPhones than AT&T at a faster rate, including the 3GS deal.
Im trying to figure out why media sites keep getting this so hopelessly wrong. This device sold 2 million+ units being a ten month old product in SIX WEEKS. Do you realize that that is nearly 15% of the lifetime sales of the most successful line of android phones (the galaxy s) in six weeks? If that's bad then **** according to this logic android is really ****ed.
