Could be that the 400D came with the latest software. Have you tried getting an update from the Canon website (DPP 2.2 etc). I can PM you the version numbers of the various utilities later on if you want?

Every time... The biggest problem I've ever had with the iPhone is the face that it has a hard time with, well, time.
Without fail, my Calendar app is bonked, and when I have work until 11, the green colored event actually goes down to midnight. Tapping on it to bring up the info, it does still say 11.
Calendar glitch happens every single time, back or forward. No issues actually getting to the correct time, though.

it doesn't really make business sense for them to wait longer to do the iPhone 5, so many customers expect it around June and they save up and sell their old phone, also 12 month iPhone4 contracts and 24month 3Gs contracts expire in June!
Apple knows what it's doing, no other company has ever had people so eager to give them their money for something they know nothing about yet.
if there's no new iPhone, all these potential expectant customers might just buy an android.

On Macs the whole application is contained in that application icon that you see. Most of the cases there are no support files, there would be one small preference file (about 4kb, to store your user settings for that app) in ~/library/preferences. You can delete that or keep it if you think you would download the same app again sometime.
Sometimes, there would be an additional folder with the name of the app containing a small file (4 kb), in your ~/library/application support. So you can check there too.

I would love something along the lines of a nano that made phone calls. I could even do without the numeric pad.
I'm with you. I already catched myself looking up a number in my nano's address book ("contacts") and looking for the "call" item. I'd love to have the main menu going "Music \n Phone \n Phone \n Extras etc." But the nano might actually be a little small for a phone. Try holding one at your ear for a minute. How about an add-on that you plug in on the bottom via the dock connector? Makes the thing a little longer and you can just upgrade your iPod. Kinda like the iTrip, but in the exact same design as the iPod itself.

Also, oopsie hardware releases aside, how would a "supposedly" early software build of iOS5 end up in the prototype phone of some guy in South East Asia? Hardware production is outsourced to Asia, yes, but software would be held pretty damn closely. Maybe I'm wrong?

So Counsumerreports publishes that they can't recommend the iPhone 4 due to antenna. Then they later realized that they were dumb asses and the iPhone antenna issue is a non-issue. Now they can't just change their mind, that would make them look like an idiot, so they stayed stubborn saying the iPhone 4 had an antenna issue, because they were too stubborn to admit they were wrong.
Now the iPad is out they are trying to prove to the media that they are not being biased against apple.
However, the iPad 2 is the best tablet. That is just a no-brained

Not everyone will want to install BOTH updates.
