Well I just broke down and bought the Kinect bundle and spent $100 more than I wanted to, but oh well. I'll give it a shot and if I hate it as much as I think I will I'll just sell it or something.
I still hate bundles.

since London Drugs told me they got 16 pre-order and getting just 7 ipad and still don't know which model, i'm going to the Pacific.
I'm thinking about shifting with my boyfriend, so i don't know at what time lining up since we're just a couple of blocks away from the mall the wake up won't be a problem, but the lining could be, since it won't be inside the mall.

... I tried the apple keyboard for about 5 minutes before it got put back into the box. Anyone want it for cheap?
Being a "full-stroke keyboarder", I like the Apple keyboard. I think you ought to keep it for when you sell your computer in the future, but if you really want to get rid of it, I'm sure there are lots of folks who would like it to use with their PC.

I would like to see a Duel drive raid TC with user replaceable drives and a better cooling solution . So far I have had one fail between 8 and 14 months old since they launched , and it's sat on a low shelf in an open to air on all sides unit PSU failure every time, capacitors burst.
They are very very poor design from a heat dissipation standpoint . I'd prefer a next gen one to go with a MagSafe replaceable PSU

I'm planning on coming. I didn't pre-order so I'll get there pretty early. I'm going to call the store this week and try to find out if they have an idea of the number of phones not already sold through pre-order.

I'm using Firefox with adblock right now and it seems to work fine, despite the fact that the page says it's not available for version 1.0+. I changed that to 1.0 and got the version that works.
Also, you might try Shiira. It uses the back-end that Safari and OmniWeb use to render pages and run JavaScript but it has its own distinct look.

I had both a Macally IceKey and a Alu Powerbook, and the similarities were definitely there. It doesn't take much effort to push the keys, and they're low so you can type faster. I also found that my wrists hurt less, especially since I've switched back to the Apple BT keyboard.
I'd try it out -- you can't go wrong with the price.

But does doing that make your iPhone SIM no longer work in your iPhone? I just want to be able to use my iPhone SIM in the iPad as I please so I don't have to tether using MyWi all the time. (This is for an iPad 2 by the way.)

You're a star! I just tested it with my hotmail address and it works but its not going to my other email which it needs to, any ideas?
Its not even landing in the trash...
Email can be a pain.... your other account could be trashing it, who knows... try to get as simple and basic as you can with your testing. I also use phpmailer you might want to look into that. Good luck.

I've done the following once a week on all the laptops we have here, without worry:
-Rubbing alcohol on old washcloth. Takes care of case, keyboard, touchpad, wrist area. Don't saturate the washcloth; just enough to dampen it, then wipe all the surfaces except screen.
-Eyeglass cleaner from drugstore for display. Comes in small spray bottle. Use it with a microfiber cloth for the display. Same as with rubbing alcohol; just enough to dampen the cloth, then wipe display.
Enjoy.

I have a Blue/white G3 at home and I need to upgrade, but can't afford to get what I would really like (a G5). I have 21" apple monitor, keyboard and mouse. And, I use all the graphics software: Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. Does anyone think this the lowest model of the mini macs is a good purchase for a couple of years? I know it will be out of date quicker than some of my other options. But, my monitor is really good, so I think I shouldn't go the emac or imac route. Any suggestions or thoughts out there? I appreciate it.
I have a Mini, and I love it. I am not a graphics guy, and can't attest to the Mini's power at photoshop, but I do push the Mini to it's limits from time to time. I would sugest going to the Apple store and using one to see if it works for you. I'm not sure what the specs are for your G3 Video card, but this is the only Achiles heal to the Mini. It sounds like the new units are shipping (soon, if not now), and I think they have upgraded video cards. This might be just what you need (until you can save $$ for a PM). If you buy the Mini, beef up the RAM- it makes such a difference in performance.

Well SafariSpeed works great, but PithHelmet crashed Safari when I went to CNN.com. I noticed PithHelmet hasn't been updated since 10.3.8 came out, so maybe that's the problem. Thanks for the tips!

no it works you won't damage your machine. I have a 2009 2.66 mini with 8gb ram it works fine for more then 16 months. your chance of machine damage is nil because it is 8gb ram.

Basically you are saying that the case is physically warped and that I should apply torque on the MBA case to fix the warp. That sounds a bit risky. I think I will bring this back.
Yes, that's what I'm saying.
It doesn't need a lot of pressure.
The MBA case isn't very rigid.
You can start with very little pressure.
No harm in bringing it back though.

I really don't understand your setup / question.
Why exactly do you have two separate internet connections?
Are you actually talking about internet or do you just mean ethernet?
