If your Attorney says it’s okay then probably you don’t have to worry.
However, your current Canadian address is not what you have in files on your I-485. Because, you can't give a foreign address.
So, I personally think you are beyond jeopardizing your pending I-485.

The address on 485 is a US address. I was in Jersey City when my firm applied for 485. However, subsequent to 180 days of filing, I transferred to Detroit practive with the same firm. And, I provided my cousin's address in Detroit where I lived temporarily. Subsequent to that, I moved to Windsor, Canada, because it is a nicer place to live.
I did consult with my attorney at that time, and she suggested that it is fine for me to live in Canada.

(I deleted the post on this thread. The poster shamelessly posted the company URL and info on his post to promote the consulting company.). We have immediately banned this user and have been deleting the same in the past too and banning this user.
This ID was created and the other ID for which this person was complaining was posting to promote his website and company on IV. The company is another consulting company trying to get employees from this site by luring them for greencard sponsorship. Now when IV deletes such posts, they start hating IV.
There have been several instances where other immigration site owners and health insurance agents for US visitors have created IDs on our site and posted information to promote their insurance or site. We will continue to delete them. This effort is not about making money like they do from the for profit site and company, but we use our contributions and money to help the lobbying effort. We will disallow anyone using this site to promote their business. We have seen what they have written against IV on other sites and this site and it proves that they do not care about this cause and just want to make money off members of this site. If some business or website, truly cares about this cause, they need to show it by posting IV banner ad on their website and/or contributing to this cause. And yes, we will definitely acknowledge their contributions on this site publicly. But we will not allow any business interest taking advantage of IV for their own promotion or financial interests.

Every credit reporting company has option to put freeze on your account. They will assign you a security key for the freeze.
Search for "experian freeze"
You can manage your freeze account online. So, when someone wants to run your credit report, it will be denied. You would have to manually lift the freeze for anyone to access your credit report.

Just heard on CNN that CIR is back on the Senate floor for sure. They have agreed to some compromise. We need to watch our for what has been agreed to and make sure that our requirements are not missed out, else all we will have for ever is a PENDING 485 APPLICATION

My 485, EAD and AP application received in NSC on AUG 2nd. My personal checks are not redeemed yet. I haven't received receipt numbers or EAD or FP.
But the USCIS receipting times states NSC is processing receipt notice for AUG 8th.
I don't know what's going on....
Do they transfer my case to TSC??? Because I am living in TX???
My employer office is in Illinois and my lawyer office is in Michigan.

Today, I filed an official complaint with IRS about this employer. They told, they are going to send a notice asking the employer to reply to the tax bearer within 10 days from the receipt of the letter. I don't know how the employer is going to react and if they would still provide a corrected W2. Hoping, they would provide, otherwise I would have to call IRS again after another 2 weeks time. I had to be on the phone line for almost 30 mins to reach the IRS customer representative. It is a real pain.
Also be prepared for a backlash ..make sure you have your bases covered.

How is this possible, EB3 ROW also has a limit to how many they can use correct? They only can use what ever is beyond the 7 % used for India/China/Mexico/Phil (28% in total). Out of 1/3 of the 140K.

I think EB3 - ROW will stop or retro. next month or for sure in the next couple of months back to where they were. Lot of people here are saying that ROW will be current soon I am not sure where they are getting these facts.
Randy and others, do go through the older threads, there are quite detailed explanation of quota allocations. ROW is the rest of the world, and yes they get to use ALL of the rest: within ROW spillover occurs from EB-1 to EB-2 to EB-3, so whatever visas are available/leftover will be used up by EB-3 ROW -- they have suffered massive retrogression for many years, and now early PDs will not be stuck in the FBI blackhole.
I am not saying that EB-3 ROW cutoff will necessarily move further forward (i.e forward from Jan05) -- DOS intent is to use up all the remaining greencards -- and it might well be that the current cutoff will achieve that goal -- if it doesn't only then will they move the EB-3 ROW dates forward. Oversubscribed countries get a spillover ONLY if EB-1 ROW + EB-2 ROW + EB-3 ROW still leave unused visas.

Yes i called the original civil surgeon and the tb test is going to cost $15 only and xray $40.
I found the reason i got the rfe.
I had a copy of the last tb test report.
That civil surgeon forgot to check mark the tb test !!!!
He checked a different section !!!
I feel bad that i missed to read it!
I could have rectified the darn doctor then and there.
It was during the july fiasco. We were all in a hurry and tensed up.

Once this rfe is cleared, i am going to sue that doctor for expenses!

My H1b is going to expire on April 17th. I had found a new job and they had applied for my H transfer on March 27th. I would like to know
1. How many days is required to get a H1b transfer receipt.
2. What happens if my H1B expires before i get a receipt.
3. Should i go on EAD or continue on H1B. My wife is a green card holder for last 3 years 6 months.

you can file EAD and AP yourself if you have recipt no for your 485 application.

They do not need to be notarized as long as they are self-attested. Scanned copies are fine. Retain the original with you in case the CIS asks for it.
