Wow, all the critical reviews to pay or not to pay, pre installed or dl on the fly. As I see it, both have draw backs as mentioned, but my general pref, is that it should dl at least your surrounding area. So Garmin (39.99), Tom Tom (39.99), Navigon (44.99), Google (free), Motion X ($2.99) etc. for US major apps.
And yet not one sole mentions Map Quest 4 Mobile (free), dl on the fly and I have never had an outage issue.
I do prefer a stand alone gps though. Therefore I don't see spending more for a secondary gps/backup on my mobile.
And for what its worth, currently using a Garmin 265WT, with traffic. I do have some slant toward Garmin as I use a eTrex Vista. On the iPhone I have all the bold apps. I prefer the Map Quest of all the boldfaced ones.
Changing gears on subject, GPS IIF, SV-1 launched end of May 2010 and SV-2 soon, accuracy will only get better!

T...who?
Seriously...in my area they are like Bubba's Cell Phone Service.
I'm perfectly content with AT&T, but Verizon sure seems like a better business partner with so many current users.

Is not true: a 50mm EF lens and a 50mm EF-s lens will have the same focal length and field of view on a crop camera.
I don't think that's true. I pretty much know it's not actually.
Shooting a 50mm on a 5d will produce a focal length of 50mm and a Field of view of 50mm. (50x1+50)
Shooting a 50mm on a 7d will produce a focal length of of 50mm and a field of view of 80mm. (50x1.6=80)
Part of the reason these two cameras exist is because one of them (5d) is full frame, awesome pictures for weddings say. Slow fps but that's not what it's for.
The 7d however is aimed at sports photogs or wildlife for example. Still an awesome picture, but loses some of it (including aperture, and the fact you can't get as smaller dof, and ISO and the fact you can't get the same low light abilities) for a much faster fps. The focal length multiplier will also help so that you can get closer to the picture with the same lens.
Same with their top two cameras one is the ultimate full frame camera (the 1D-s mkIII), the other is the ultimate crop (1.3) camera (the 1d mkIV).
If there was no difference they wouldn't do it.
it's a smaller sensor, so therefore a smaller field of view.
Why don't you just google it? Or put in a source that proves you right?

You can put a SSD in (same instructions as for putting a HDD in). See iFixit's guide.
There are different brands of SSD to choose from e.g. Intel, OWC, OCZ etc.
You can't replace the CPU though.
If you have the 2Ghz CPU then you have the early 09 Mini, not the late 09.

Say something because I don't know what that picture is supposed to mean. Can I take it to mean you don't believe there's any benefit to cutting taxes? If so, you should just say it so I can tell you where you're wrong much faster.
No, you can take it to mean that your argument a crock of unmitigated crap. As for the benefit of cutting taxes, it depends on the context. So don't jump in to tell me I'm wrong "much faster" because I'm not.
(Really, you didn't get the message from the picture? :rolleyes: )

Personally, I can't see how Apple could be seen to be the good guys in this case, given they're sending cease-and-desist letters to people using 'pod' (not "iPod") in their product names.
I'm actually reversing myself here, now that I've gotten a chance to read it. This isn't a true C&D letter, in fact, they're only opening up a dialog. Also, the pod reference is specific to content loaded onto portable media players, not 'pod' in general. Seems reasonable to me.

I was gonna come to the Regent Street store, but I didn't have enough time, so I went to the Kingston Bentall Centre store instead. Got there at 6 but the queue only took 5 minutes and I easily managed to get a t-shirt. When I left at 7 there was still loads more t-shirts, but it had got pretty quiet outside, so I went back in and got another t-shirt. :D

Do not take it wrong, the English was not correct, he wanted a translation, but he asked what did the woman say.
Well, then, let me make you happy. You're going to be the last person of the day, so why not... :)
With regards to aforementioned website containing a video clip of a Japanese woman demonstrating a stunningly simple technique wherein in three rapid moves she folds a t-shirt to a certain predefined size and shape;
AND WHEREAS she gives a narration of the process in the Japanese language;
AND WHEREAS MikeTheC is not literate in Japanese and therefore cannot make any direct use or sense of the spoken Japanese instructions;
AND WHEREAS this thread, having nothing really to do with the ancient Japanese art of folding t-shirts, but yet heavily discussing Japanese commercials and Apple's renewed presence in them;
I would humbly request that, should someone here have an over-abundance of time on their hands, time which is of such sufficient abundance that they cannot otherwise fill it, and is suitably and/or sufficiently bored, AND who happens to be fluent in Japanese, if it would please or in some small way entertain you, please enter by way of the standard electronic form, written in English, the substance of what the afore-referenced Japanese instructor said as she gave the afore-mentioned and afore-referenced instructions in Japanese.
Thank you.

here are some good references to get a grasp of the differences. As others have stated, the lens is the same focal length, but on a smaller sensor body (APC), the image is essentially "cropped". Some websites..
Site #1 (http://www.extremeinstability.com/topic-full-frame.htm)
Site #2 (http://www.petapixel.com/2010/10/02/full-frame-vs-crop-sensor-comparison/)
Site #3 (http://www.the-digital-picture.com/canon-lenses/field-of-view-crop-factor.aspx)
The second site is a video that is nice. 3rd site has good info.
It is funny HOW NO ONE clicked on these links. It has all the info here, and you can see what the differences are... or people can just keep arguing.

Birth rates have fallen dramatically and the explosion of diabetes and other modern ills in countries like Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, the UAE, etc. means things will change simply because they have to. Although social inequality will remain as long as kings and dictators or republicans are in charge.

I say its time we overthrow the republicans and democrats and start a party which is ANTI-CORPORATIONS and is for the people and by the people.. Who's with me?
And that will last until the new party gets its first corporate donation...
Not that I'm a cynic.
And what's with this rhetoric? "overthrow"? Really? And you do realize you just Goodwin-ed this discussion...
