I have no problems starting with a new labor, new I-140, as long as I can retain my old Priority date. Will you get real mad if I ask "can you re-confirm your answer" ? :D Nonetheless, Thanks a bunch again. :)

as july VB states all EB categories for india is current, is there a chance ( or even worst case scenario ) where the dates can retrogess in the middle of month anytime ?
in other words can we take it for granted that the dates will NOT move back till the last working day of july 07

Hi guys,
please help me out. My H1 will expire May 09 (i could claim about 3-4 months outside of india for h1 extension)
My question is if i start my LCA < 365 days from H1b expiry date and get it approved and subsequently file for 1-140 and say 1-140 is not approved, will i get H1 7th year extension?

Your insurance company will give you that letter....no specific amount but stating that international coverage is there. I have used that letter for Schengen visa in German consulate 4 times and it has worked well.
Has anybody recently applied for a Schengen Visa, if yes, can you please let me know what you did for the travel insurance. The insurance from my employer (Humana) says they cover international but do not have a letter that states the same and Swedish consulate website says the letter should specifically say "International Coverage".
What are my options. Can you guys suggest where I can buy the insurance from.

one more question... if I reenter using my AP then IO always take you to some place/room to verify something or its sometimes/randomly only? I just realize that my connection time while coming back from one airport(POE) to another is just 2 hours.
I can tell you right now that 2 hrs is not enough time for your connection flight and it is NOT RANDOM.its for all AP holders

some Travel agents have told My brother in law that they can arrange for Visitor visa without going to consulate. To my knowledge its not possible. one have to attend an Interview at the consulate and do finger prints to get a visa.
Anybody have any similar experience / information ?

I called the USCIS they told me that it is rejected b'couse of Filing Fee. I left a message to my lawyer & my employer they didn't get back to me yet. Waiting for there reply

Don't sweat it. I too overlooked this field during my last e-filing in 2008. The date of last arrival field is easy to miss, since it is embedded right under a set of "previous EAD" fields, some of which you would likely leave blank if you don't have too many previous EADs. I simply included this data item on a separate piece of paper with my supporting documentation. I didn't face any delays in my EAD approval...it was approved in a few weeks.
I don't think this is any cause for concern.
I guess USCIS IT department does not have the budget to hire a usability expert to review their e-filing forms. Some of those forms look like "hello world" projects. :)
This is my second renewal, first time did it online it was smooth! This time the online process seemed little different, they were asking for few info at a time and we got to click the continue button...I was just doing fine and was waiting that at some point it would show the complete application for me to review, but I got to the last page and said something like "Submit" or "Finish" and I did ...everything was ok got the confirmation....OOPS, left the date of last arrival blank! Had put the Port of arrival correct, but left the date blank!
How is this going to affect my EAD, anyone had similar experience ? In the confirmation, it had instructions that I will get notice for finger printing appt and other documents to be sent.
Really pissed off! Very bad mood today!
Can't the system check for missing information! Even mom & pop online services check for all information before accepting! Anyways, no excuse for me , I should have been careful!

Lets not be judgemental. The guy has done thing that is legal. Morally right or wrong does not matter. The only advice I have is furnish more details so people who have been through similar experience can help you.
FYI. I do not have a substitute labor. I have my own labor and know people who have superseeded me in line and are already GC holders. But then that is life I dont care what they did or when I get my GC I have better things to worry about.
